How to Become a Male Model
Step 1
Try to meet the industry's standard requirements. Most male models are between 5' 11" and 6' 2" and under 175 pounds. Males can start a modeling career from the age range of 18 to 25 and their careers can last well into their 40s, which is much more relaxed than their female counterparts. Don't worry about being all around perfection, if one body part is exceptional, there's work for hand models and eyewear models, too.
Step 2
Keep toned. Although the modeling industry doesn't want a body builder's frame, they do want a fit and healthy appearance.
Step 3
Move to a big city. New York City is the best place for modeling as it is considered the modeling capital of America. Other large cities need models, too, so check around via the Internet and in phone books for modeling opportunities in these areas.
Step 4
Create a portfolio. Get several head shots and full body shots in both sportswear and business attire taken. Keep information like clothing size, height and weight on the back for potential clients to look at.
Step 5
Get an agent. A good time to find one is when a modeling agency holds open call, which is when anyone can go in and be informed of their potential in the industry. Sometimes a model search will go to smaller towns to look for talent. Be sure to research their legitimacy before signing up. There are even scouting companies (See Resources) that can send information to modeling agencies for their clients.

Male supermodels are emerging for the first time to share the spotlight with the traditional Swimsuit Edition female stars, and it's a great time to jump into the world of male modeling!
Unlike their female counterparts, male models enjoy a greater degree of flexibility in their careers. While most female fashion models are out of work by the time they're 25, male models can work steadily from the age of 15 into their fifties. Each male model can use a vast range of styles for photo shoots, ranging from a buttoned down business man with a crew cut to an unshaven surfer with hair down to his shoulders. He can be a tattooed punk at a skate park or a young grandfather relaxing at home. This level of freedom is attracting more men to the industry. There are a few things you should consider before you pack up your bags and head to
New York or LA, according to the Association of Model Agents:
15 to 25 is considered the "young men's" market, though if you can photograph older or younger the age range isn't set in stone.
25 to 35 is the "adult men's" market, and this is where the majority of male model casting comes from, unlike female modeling.
Most professional male models are between 5'10" and 6'2". Unlike female models, being of average height or slightly above is a benefit.
Most professional male models weigh between 140 and 165 pounds, though this can vary depending on where you fit on a Body Mass Index.
The average measurements of a professional male model range from 40 regular to 42 long.
If you fall within those basic parameters you will find it easier to get work off the bat. But don't despair if you're too tall, too lanky, too wide, or weigh to little or too much; the male modeling marketing is expanding rapidly, and niches are being created all the time.

Jennylyn Mercado – I met her sa school. Wow…. She was a stunner. I cant believe my eyes. Angel ba sya?hehehehehe.. I have her MP3 songs in my phone and laptop. Ang ganda nya talaga. Sa lahat ng artista na nakilala ko, she was the one who took my breath away…Tapos yung boses nya pa. hay I love u jen. hahaha
Cristine Reyes – one word.SEXY (MY FAVORITE COVERGIRL) ka facebook ko sya ngayun.=] Sugar and spice………..The porcelain skin and oh so sexy body. Oh may gas.hehehehe! tuwing nakikita ko sya nakakalimutan kong kumurap.hehehehe
Kristine Hermosa – she is not a Godess….. She is a life size FAIRY.wow. Sabi ko nga dati… Napakaperpekto naman ng mukha ni tin, ang makakapantay lang siguro sa ganda nya eh si Song hye Kyo ng korea.
Heart Evangelista – Chinitang malupit pumorma. I love HEART! That smile, those eyes, that cute voice and that long black hair. Mukha syang anime. I love anime heheheh.Tapos mahilig din sya magpainting – o db bagay na bagay kami. Pareho kaming anime at painter!hahahaha
Bea Alonzo – Mula sa K2bu days nya lagi ko na sya pinapanood. Virgin Mary ang dating ng mukha nya eh.galing umarte kaso di sya magaling maghost sa ASAP.
Ai Ai Delas Alas – hehehe Sobrang pinasaya ni Ai Ai ang buhay ko. Sa bawat movie nya na tlagang natutumba ako sa kinauupuan ko kakatawa.Tpos ngayun na may daily show na sya….WAH!. Araw araw na nya ako napapatawa.
Dennis Trillo – Si kuya Dennis! Wah ang bait nito nameet ko siya thru his Manager. Parang hinde artista ang bait talaga ginamit nya pa cellphone ko pangpicture adik hahaha. Rock On! Kahit ginahasa na sya ng mga wild nyang fans sa mall tours nya eh ok pa rin sya, kakaawa nga eh.
Dingdong Dantes – Bilib ako kasi ang disiplina nya at talino eh parang walang makakatumbas. Hirap kaya magpapayat at magworkout lalo na kung tabain ka. Direktor din sya. Definitely an artist in many ways.Naiinspire ako magworkout tuloy.hehehe
Aj Perez – hahaha kasama ko toh sa Candy magazine, mabait din. Mukha nga syang babae nung nakita ko eh ang amo kasi ng mukha. Lol mukha syang babae kaya tuloy naattract ata ako hehehehe!

SLIMMERISTA Fitness Trainer
Wow… After a few days of training, I am now a Fitness Trainer of Slimmer’s World! So if you’re looking for a personal trainer you can choose me. Just go to Slimmer’s world Legaspi Village and look for Bryan =] I’d be more than willing to help you achieve your fitness goals.There I met Mam Chat and my trainers Sir Edmond, Sir Robert and Miss Joan.
One day, Mam Chat called all the staff of Slimmers Legaspi and I introduced myself to all of them. Then, Mam Chat said “O Bryan ang sabi mo diba marunong kang kumanta nung interview mo saken? Edi KANTA!” OMG ngayun lang ako na on the spot jackpot sa pagkanta…..so I sang …”Angels brought me here” After that they said that I really have a beautiful voice and they started to call me Baby James. Hehehehe!kulit nuh. Pumalakpak sila so I think they were sincere naman in their complements.
Ayun nagdaan ang aking unang week with my first job ever. It was fun, I didn’t consider it toxic or stressful pero xempre the hardest part is battling it out with Makati Stoplights and traffic. I started doing fitness tests for the new clients, I calculated their body fats using the OMRON and I gave them lots and lots of my ….. ahemmm attention. =]
Halo halo ang mga tao sa Gym namin, may mga gustong magpapayat, at gustong magpalaki ng katawan. Meron din mga gusto magpabata. At mga gusting magmature ang itsura. May mga nurses and doctors din from Makati Medical. I assist everyone of them, may mga nagpapa”spot” may mga nagpapaturo ng paggamit ng equipment, may mga nagtatanong regarding pains and discomforts that they feel while working out, mayroon din mga nagpapacheck ng blood pressure at body fat sakin. Meron ding mga nagpapalista sa Cardio equipment usage. May mga nagsasasyaw ng NOBODY BUT U!2x at Fire sa aerobics class.
Maliit lang ang branch namin sa Legaspi, pero its ok since mas mafofocus ka na magworkout kaysa magpahinga. Mas madali ka rin makameet ng new friends.Sa Pasay Road Branch naman ang dami kong kakilala na dun nagygym. Im lucky enough to be given old and new uniforms. Astig! Kulay blue nga eh…gusto ko din yung red kaso nagmumukha akong Chinese pag yun ang suot ko hehe.
I have learned so many things regarding fitness and bodybuilding during my training. Sapat na nga yung mga natununan ko para magtayo ako ng sarili kong gym dito samen eh. Im happy that all of these learnings regarding “pagpapa-seksi” ay magagamit ko sa panghabambuhay. Si Mommy ko nga ginawan ko ng sarili nyang home workout program eh. Sana lang sundin nya hehehehe.
Im still on adjustment sa:
Diet – di ko alam kung magnonocarbs ba ako or what
Sleeping and Wake up time- Paiba iba kasi Shift ko eh
Travelling time- Pagtraffic 2 hours byahe ko. Pag hinde 40 mins kaya na.
Pang uwi na damit – minsan shorts, minsan jogging pants.
One of my plans is to get back in modelling…so I think my job as a trainer is the best stepping stone to get back on track. Payag naman si Sir Robert eh, and it is my responsibility as a slimmerista to look best as I could PHYSICALLY.
Gusto ko na magkaroon ng Personal training assignment.Masaya yun may ma-ttraining ako ng ako lang with a personal touch regarding exercises.=] heheheh gusto ko na iplan ang work out routine nya tapos isestretch ko pa katawan nya. Hehehe aalagaan ko mabuti yun for sure.( Adik im playin “If ever you’re in my arms again” sa background music now) hahaha

Orange Skies
kagabi galing kami sa Bahay nila tita Tessie, birthday kasi ni Lola Glory...ayun handaan at kainan nanaman as usual naimpatso nga ata ako sa dami ng nakain ko hehehe. I wore orange . tapos kanina we went to Bamboo organ church for The Bishops Conference ng parish...Ayun I wore plum and orange. Tapos kasama ko si Tita Cynthia Villar and Manny Villar sa event. kamusta naman ang orange.at naka orange shoes pa nga pala ako.hahahaha!

Trinity Lunch
We went to mass at 9am this Sunday morning...then We had Tita Briggitte's birthday lunch earlier at Trinity Restaurant im SM Mall of Asia. After that i bought 3 jogging pants and a kingflute booklet. Another weekend has ended.

August 1, when I woke up I immediately turned on the tv to watch Saturday morning shows but to my surprsise, this was the statement I first heard “ Sa Pagpanaw ni President Aquino” …. I was shocked. What a sad way to start my day. It seems that 2009 is the year that the GREATEST PEOPLE on earth are dying one by one….
First, it was the KING OF PHILIPPINE RAP – FRANCIS MAGALONA.
Second the THE KING OF WORLD POP – MICHAEL JACKSON
And now….THE MOTHER OF PHILIPPINE DEMOCRACY – CORY AQUINO
Since August 1 to 5 all Filipinos are already mourning for a great loss. I know the Philippines will never be the same after losing the Greatest President of all time. You may think its cheesy, but I am personally very sad since day 1 of her death. I admire Cory more than Ninoy Aquino. She should be the one considered as a national hero for all the things she did for this country. Kasama ako sa pakikiramay sa Aquino family at sa buong Pilipinas sa pagluluksa. During her wake at La Salle Greenhills, I already want to go there to see her and thank her and pay my last respects. But I wasn’t able to do so because of the storm “jolina” and because my Mom wont allow to go there.
A friend texted me na nasa Malate daw sya last night at nagimik. What the hell?! Nung tinanong ko kung pupunta xa ng Manila Cathedral at dadalaw kay tita Cory, hinde sya nagreply. Pero when he went out to Gimmick talagang proud pa sya at negtext sakin, I don’t know if he was trying to boast of enjoying good times pero wala talagang bahid ng inggit akong naramdaman. I felt sorry for him since he wasn’t even caring enough for the Person who made his a life free and easy. Sana hinde lahat ng Pilipino ay ganun. Sana maisip nila na kahit hinde nila naranasan ang kabaitan ni Tita Cory, makiisa man lang sila sa pagdadalamhati ng bayan.
But at August 3 we went to Intramuros to go and see her in Manila Cathedral. We fell in line for about 1 hour and 30 minutes.(Maswerte kami at nakasingit kami ) I know that the line was of infinite length. Si Cory Aquino ba naman yun db? We arrived at 2am and we saw tita Cory at around 3:30 am. I didn’t care whoever the celebrities or politicians were there, upon entering the Cathedral I was just focused on seeing the my beloved Tita Cory. Upon seeing her face, my breath stopped for seconds, I cannot explain what I felt that that moment.In fact,I was in sorrow and grief. Hinde ako napangiti na parang isang fan na nakakita sa kanyang tinitingingalang idol for the first time. Nakakalungkot talaga eh. Hinde ko mapigilang madepress. She was wearing a yellow blazer with yellow crystals. She was glowing. Ang puti at ang kinis nya. She looks at peace . And I also Pray for that.
When we went outside, they were giving out free Siopao and Mineral water. Of course I took a siopao =]
There were also Collectibles for sale such as T-shirts and pins. I bought a small Yellow Shirt worth 100 Pesos.
For the Past few days wala akong ginawa kung hinde manood ng TV and see the latest updates from the Necrological Services to the Requiem Mass.

THANKYOU AND I LOVE YOU TITA CORY! I was born in 1986 and I owe my beautiful life and freedom as a Filipino thanks to you. I’m proud I was born in 1986 when EDSA People Power Revolution happened and Cory was elected as President of the Philippines. A million thanks to you the one and only Mother of the Philippine Nation.
The Filipinos will be forever grateful to you Tita Cory and your beloved Ninoy.
